Overview
The Ronin Dashboards Connector app are special apps to easily and securely retrieve information from some Atlassian cloud products like Jira (Core, Software, Service DeskManagement), Confluence and Bitbucket (which includes Pipelines).
You do NOT need any Ronin Dashboards Connector app to start using Ronin Dashboards for Jira, but you do need a Ronin Dashboards Connector app to connect certain products, namely:
External Jira instances. Install the free app Ronin Dashboards Connector for Jira. There is no need to install a connector to display information from your current Jira instance, only if you want to retrieve information from a external Jira instance.
Confluence. Install the free app Ronin Dashboards Connector for Confluence.
Bitbucket (which includes Pipelines). Install the free app Ronin Dashboards Connector for Bitbucket.

It just requires an admin to install the app and you are ready to go!
It requires Ronin Dashboards for Jira (paid app) to be installed in the main instance, but the Ronin Dashboards Connector apps are free apps!
